Content Marketing

+ Blog Manager and Australian Editor

Australian market + US and UK

Eventbrite is the world’s largest self-service ticketing platform and I supported the Australian marketing team as a content writer and lead editor on an ongoing basis from 2015 until a pandemic-led workforce reduction in mid-2020.

Focusing on B2B content for event organisers of all industries, I helped launch the Australian eventbrite blog, increasing traffic by over 2000% in the first 12 months and maintaining a growing active readership for over five years.

Highlights include:

  • Significantly improving search engine rankings for the Australian blog by consistently publishing top-ranking content. Also produced some of the highest ranking content for the US and UK markets.

  • Created ebooks, tip sheets, and templates that generated hundreds of sales and marketing qualified leads every month.

  • Wrote and published content that attracted PR hits and republishing of work.

  • Assisted the leadership team with producing content and slide decks for presentations, keynotes, and webinars presented at events across Australia.

  • Shifted to a managing editor role with growth of the marketing team, helping to onboard new staff members and provide support to other contractors.

  • Developing strong working relationships that have continued long after team members have left Eventbrite.
