Freelance Senior Copywriter & Content Strategist since 2015

My curious and entrepreneurial nature has led me on an interesting career path in US tech companies, non-profits, local businesses and some of Australia’s best advertising agencies. This background means I’m commercially minded in everything I write. I think strategically about business objectives and put customer needs front-and-centre to create engaging, results-driven content. I pride myself on writing helpful, informative pieces that provides clear direction on what to do next.

FAQs

  • I am based remotely from my home office in Perth, Australia (time zone +8GMT). Working remotely means location is not a barrier and my words appear online for audiences in APAC, the US, and UK. I also have experience localising international content for the Australian market.

  • No, I focus purely on content production and strategy. I create engaging copy that can be shared on social media to accompany campaigns, but it's not my primary role and I do not offer management or monitoring services.

  • After discussing the type of work and/or research required I can provide project and hourly rates to suit your budget and needs. I do not offer a per-word rate as I believe in producing high quality work at the right length, not padding out content to make an extra buck.

  • With a broad depth of experience and insight across industries, I pride myself as being a marketing generalist who can quickly establish business priorities and fit my writing to suit what your audience needs.

That said, I also have a great deal of subject matter expertise including:
    - Events and event marketing
    - Technology and SaaS
    - Hotels and tourism
    - Restaurants, reviews and neighbourhood guides
    - Education
    - B2B Communications
    - Parenting
    - Non-profits and fundraising

    - Vision and health
    - NDIS

  • Sure can! I am flexible to work with your chosen online CMS and email platform including WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, MailChimp, Mail Manager, Campaign Monitor, Prismic, as well as proprietary in-house systems. If you have no idea what any of this means, that’s ok too! I supply draft content in Word, Pages, or Google Docs, based on client preference. Whether I upload and manage the content or your team handles it is up to you.

  • My availability and work capacity changes throughout the year, so I am always open to conversations about new projects and ongoing work on a remote, part-time basis.

I have a number of long-term clients that I have worked with for many years and am therefore unable to accept full-time or on-site positions, even on a short term contract basis.
