Belong

Belong is a technology startup based in San Francisco and Florida, dedicated to creating the world’s first residential network and doing away with the outdated models of property management. They have a unique problem in that they want to move away from the keywords used by every real estate competitor in market. As a freelance SEO writer and Content Lead, I produced educational content that would attract US homeowners while supporting their preferred brand terms.

Within the first few months of becoming a regular author on Belong’s blog, SEO-driven leads increased 47% week-on-week and share of voice against competitors rose ~20%. I also produced content featured in weekly newsletters that saw a massive spike in SQLs and closed deals. In the months following becoming the Content Lead, pageviews on their blog doubled, time on page increased by 20% and conversions increased by 30%.
